Choice Homecare is considered an introduction agency because the care-workers are self-employed. We feel this is vitally important because it gives you, the ultimate control over your care.
Regularly review our policies and procedures,
asking our clients to complete a survey every year, rating our
service.
We keep records which meet a high standard and complete
supervision meetings with care-workers on a regular basis.
We ask all care-workers to complete a questionnaire on their
placement, to ensure your needs and wishes are catered for.
We comply with all Care Quality Commission monitoring activities and have been awarded a rating of (***) Good on 11/05/2009.
At Choice Homecare we take our legal responsibilities veryseriously.
Public Liability: This covers any damaged property or injury
to a third party as a result of the negligence of the Agency.
Employer’s liability: This covers the care-workers from harm or injury
resulting from the negligence of the Agency.
It is good practice to ensure that your home contents
insurance contains a personal
liability clause, which would cover the care-worker if they were hurt
within your home.
If you require the care-worker to drive, then your car insurer would
need to be informed of this.
